Over the last few months, I've been feeling uninspired with my Etsy shop, because of the stress of running multiple businesses and the competitive market on Etsy.. However, after working with dozens of Etsy sellers, I've discovered that trying new things is necessary to stay ahead of the competition. By trying some of the techniques outlined in this post, you may find a new way to reach your targeted audience and increase your sales.

#1. New Etsy Sales Thing: Running Etsy Ads

The first technique I've been trying lately is running Etsy ads. Etsy ads are a powerful tool for increasing visibility and driving traffic to your shop. By creating ads that target specific keywords and phrases, you can reach a new audience and increase your sales. The key to this is making sure your product photos, listing description and product tags are all up to date and accurate. If they aren't, you'll be wasting more money on ads than you'll be brinigng in.

#2. New Etsy Sales Thing: Being Present in My Etsy Shop Every Day

The second strategy I've been implementing is being present in my Etsy shop every day. This involves responding promptly to messages, updating listings, and making sure that my shop looks professional and inviting. By being present in my shop every day, I can build better relationships with my customers and provide them with excellent customer service. It also shows Etsy that you're a serious seller and are here to play. This can boost your organic visibility on the platform and in return boost your sales.

#3. New Etsy Sales Thing: Duplicate Listings with Different Keywords

The third strategy I've been trying is duplicating listings with different keywords. This involves creating multiple listings for the same product, each with different keywords and titles. By doing this, I can increase my shop's visibility and reach a wider audience. It's a simple strategy that has helped me to generate more sales and attract new customers.

One Etsy Selling Technique I'm Giving Up: Sales Events

Sales events are a popular strategy used by Etsy sellers to increase sales, but they don't work for everyone. Recently, I tried running a sales event on my Etsy shop, but it didn't produce the results that I was hoping for. Therefore, I decided to give up on sales events and focus on other strategies that work best for my store. One of the reasons running a sale didn't work for me is that my product pricing is already so competitive that putting them on sale really cuts into my profits. I would rather have reasonably priced items that people love than over charging for them and having to run sales all the time.

Overall, trying new Etsy sales strategies is a must for success, especially in a competitive market like Etsy. By implementing new techniques like running Etsy ads, being present in my Etsy shop every day, and duplicating listings with different keywords, you can increase your sales and reach a new audience.
