If you’re like me and feel overwhelmed, stressed, or just plain unhappy with life then this post is for you! I use mind mapping to help my brain organize thoughts and things that need to be done. It’s a great way to make sure your thoughts are organized no matter what the topic. It can also be used as a relaxing exercise by drawing out pictures of whatever comes to your head! The benefits include: increased focus, decreased stress levels, improved grades in school or work and even help you be even more happy with life.

how to be happy with life

It wasn’t that long ago that I was in a funk for quite some time. I couldn’t seem to find anything that was making me happy. I had no idea what was wrong with me. Then it dawned on me, my life has become too complicated and I need some help simplifying it! So I started mind mapping all of the things going on in my life until one by one they began to make sense and fall into place. The weight of worry was lifted from my shoulders as everything seemed more manageable now. It was all laid out before me. This simple technique helped clear up so many issues that were weighing heavily on my heart. This made me feel lighter than air! Mind mapping really is a powerful tool when you’re feeling down and can help you create even more happy with life.

WHAT IS MIND MAPPING?

“Mind mapping” is a term that comes from the world of psychology and was popularized by Tony Buzan in his book, Mind Map. Essentially, mind mapping involves making connections between ideas or words to help you find solutions for problems more quickly. It’s been shown that people who use mind maps are able to process information better than those who don’t. This is because they’re engaging both hemispheres of their brain at once. If this sounds complicated and time-consuming to do on your own without any guidance, we’ve got good news!

Mind mapping is a highly effective tool for many different reasons. It has been shown to help people retain information better, and it also helps them organize their thoughts. There are even some studies that show mind mapping can increase productivity! In this blog post, we will explore what the benefits of mind mapping are and why you should use it to be even more happy with life.

What are the benefits of mind mapping?

  • It helps people retain information better and organize their thoughts.
  • The process can be used to increase productivity.
  • Mind maps help groups collaborate, plan, brainstorm ideas, solve problems and make decisions together.

Things you should consider when using a mind map: (other than read this blog post!)

  • Are you trying to clear your mind or solve a problem?
  • Are you a more analytical or a more creative person?
  • What is your end goal for the mind map?

WHY MIND MAPPING WORKS

In the diagram below, you can see that there is a central idea or concept. Surrounding it are related ideas and concepts which are connected by curved lines called “branches.” The branches might branch out again to other topics.

This technique works like our brain does so we can have one main thought, but many thoughts that surround it too. It helps us easily sort through information and recognize relationships among details of what’s on our mind. Mind mapping also stimulates creativity because it’s an expressive way to think about how things relate with each other in your life! Including how to be happy with life.

HOW TO MIND MAP

In order to create a good visual representation of how you think about things, start by drawing one circle or line that represents what is at the center of everything (your main topic). This should be something that is either stressing you out or a problem that needs solved.

Next, draw circles around the central point indicating other ideas that are related to it but less so than the ones that come next. Try to think about what might be the most relevant thoughts first- so it does not look like a jumbled mess of words and lines

You can also draw more branches out from your central point. Do this connecting it with other points on either side or slightly off to the right/left. Make sure you are using different colors in order to distinguish between them easily

It is important when drawing connections between these circles for one another that they do not overlap or intersect each other too much. This is because it will make it difficult to read later down the line. Other than that, go wild! Draw as many other ideas as you want
